Man Hole Cover Blows Off (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A man hole cover exploded off of a street near the intersection of Spy Run and Griswold Drive in Fort Wayne around 9:45 this morning.

Fire fighters arrived on the scene shortly after the cover blew off and police rerouted traffic for most of the morning closing off Spy Run.

Traffic has since been restricted to one lane and will reopen once it is deemed safe to travel.

No one has been reported injured at this time and the cause of the explosion is under investigation.
