Man Arrested For Dealing Cocaine

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A man is in police custody on four counts of dealing cocaine after a search of his home Monday morning.

According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, James C. Johnson, 35, was arrested after police served a search warrant Monday, June 9th around 7:42 a.m on 1017 Ventura Lane. Detectives had received information that cocaine was being sold from the residence and were able to purchase the drug from Johnson while undercover.

When police entered the home, they found three adults and five children present. Johnson has been charged with four counts of dealing cocaine, a Class A Felony, and charged with a misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession.

Detectives say they found 4.5 grams of cocaine during the search. Johnson is being held on a $200,750 bond.
