Lutheran Adds Second Helicopter To Help Cover Service Area (VIDEO)

WABASH, Ind. (21Alive) -- The Lutheran Health Network is adding a second helicopter to its fleet. Hospital officials announced Wednesday afternoon that another medical helicopter will be added early this fall.

The home base for Lutheran Air Two will be at Wabash Municipal Airport and will help cover the hospital's 23-county service area.

The second helicopter will lead to the creation of ten new positions, including pilots, flight mechanics and medical crew members.
