FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – A couple of local filmmakers are getting some help to complete their project.

Zach McIntyre and Nick Bojrab, are using Kickstarter to fund their independent film project, "Unreasonable Doubt."

They're both high school students, and their film will be shot at a number of locations in Fort Wayne, including Bon Bon's Coffee.

“Unreasonable Doubt" is a short dramedy (drama and comedy) focusing on a group of high school students attempting to resolve their relationship troubles.

“The whole film they're struggling, struggling, trying to deal with these problems, they're talking with each other trying to figure things out and at the end there's this underlying theme that all this drama isn't important, why are focusing on all of this drama. You know, young relationships should just be about having fun and getting to know the person you're with,” said co-creator Zach McIntyre.

The Kickstarter campaign raised $200 of its $250 goal in less than 24 hours, and has now raised more than $500.

Along with adding to his portfolio, Zach plans to submit the film to film festivals locally and maybe in Chicago.
