FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – Local groups, both opposing and in support of Gay rights organized Monday afternoon.

Not even a week after the Supreme Court ruled that gay couples can receive federal marriage benefits, and overturned a ban on same-sex marriages in California, people here in Fort Wayne made their voices heard.

Monday, July 1, at noon two groups rallied on the Allen County Courthouse lawn.

Shepherds United, a local clergy group made up of 140 religious leaders, is rallying for traditional marriage, maintaining that marriage should be between a man and a woman.

There also was a group of people who are rallying for equality, showing support and love for the LGBT community.
