Jackknifed Semi On I-469, Traffic Moving Slowly

January 7, 2014 Updated Jan 7, 2014 at 3:49 PM EST

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) -- A jackknifed semi tractor-trailer was blocking the passing lane on westbound I-469 at the 29.2 mile marker (west of the Maplecrest Road exits). As a result, traffic was backed up and moving extremely slowly.

The lanes have since been cleared and traffic is flowing normally. Those in the area are asked to be observant for emergency crews and for packed snow and ice covered roadways.
