INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (21Alive) -- Restaurant delivery workers may not just be carrying your meal, some are now carrying a gun.

Some restaurants are taking these precautions to keep their delivery persons safe after two delivery workers were shot and killed in the last two weeks.

The manager at Aunt Polly's says that as long as his drivers have gun permits, he'll allow them to carry their weapons while making deliveries. Pizza Hut management says they took the shooting seriously and called all of its locations in Indianapolis to ensure that all delivery drivers are taking steps to stay safe.
