Indiana Lawmakers Return To Statehouse This Summer (VIDEO)

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (21Alive) -- State lawmakers will be heading back to the statehouse to make some corrections to bills passed during the last legislative session.

One bill that is up for correction is the criminal sentencing overhaul bill that was passed. Apparently, the bill allows for shorter sentences for people commit more serious crimes.

Another bill that needs to be corrected is a bill that accidentally created a new tax on alternative fuels.

The one day session will take place June 17th.
