FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Today, IPFW announced the three speakers that will comprise their 20th annual Omnibus Lecture Series.
First, Doris Kearns Goodwin will be speaking on September 23. Goodwin is a Pulitzer Prize winning author who has written six New York Times bestsellers. Her work "Team Of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln" was the basis for the move "Lincoln" by Steven Spielberg.
Neil deGrasse Tyson will be the second speaker on October 21. Tyson is a renowned Astrophysicist and has hosted multiple television shows. He has received 18 honorary doctorates, along with being honored by NASA with a Distinguished Public Service Medal.
Garrison Keillor will be speaking on April 1, 2015. Keillor is an author, radio host, and humorist. He also starred in the film adaption of A Prairie Home Companion in 2006.
All lectures take place in the John and Ruth Rhinehart Music Center. Tickets are free and become available 3 weeks before the date of the event.
