House Fire On Hazelett (with Map & Video)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- The Fort Wayne Fire Department arrived on the scene of a house fire on Hazelett Road Tuesday afternoon.

When crews arrived, there was heavy fire on the outside rear of the home. The fire was under control in 16 minutes. Crews searched the home and found no one inside.

Damage was contained to the rear of the home with minor damage extending into the home.

Investigators say that the cause was improper disposal of ashes from a wood burning stove.
