INDIANA (www.incnow.tv) - Beginning Monday, Indiana Social Security offices will close to the public a half hour early each day and at noon on Wednesday after the first of the year.

Closing earlier will allow employees to complete face-to-face interviews and process claims without the cost of overtime, although most Social Security services don't require a visit to the office. Services like applying for retirement, disability, or medicare benefits can easily be done online or over the phone.

Just go to www.socialsecurity.gov or call the toll free number at 1-800-772-1213. Just a reminder, the office will be closed the day after Thanksgiving.
