INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (21Alive) -- Indiana has hit the jackpot when it comes to the Hoosier Lottery.
Officials today announced the lottery is providing the State of Indiana with more than $250 million in surplus revenue for the 2014 fiscal year. The state uses the contributions to support the build Indiana Fund, Pensions for local firefighters and police officer and retirement funds for teachers.
The $250 Million is a 12% increase from last year.
