Indiana (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Lt. Gov. Becky Skillman and former Congressman Lee Hamilton unveiled the state’s new standard license plate celebrating the 200th anniversary of Indiana’s statehood.

The new plate design will replace the current standard, introduced in 2008, that features the state flag's torch and stars on a blue background.

The new plates start going out December 27, 2012.
