FORT WAYNE, In. (www.incnow.tv) --- Fort Wayne Police are looking for the man they say attempted to rob a local Shell gas station at knife-point.

Their search for the man should be made easier by these great store surveillance pictures, which some say are better than bank surveillance photos.

Read the police press release:

"Fort Wayne police are presently investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at approximately 12:06 a.m. at 6321 E. State Blvd., site of a Shell Gas Station. The suspect entered the store, approached the register, and then pulled out a knife and demanded cash. Unable to obtain cash, the suspect fled the store empty-handed.

Investigators are releasing in-store camera surveillance video and still images of the suspect in the hopes that someone will recognize him.

The suspect is described as a black male, having long hair; last seen wearing a dark-colored shirt. Anyone having information about this incident is asked to call Fort Wayne Police at (260) 427-1201, or Crime Stoppers at (260) 436-7867. The incident remains under investigation with the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney's Office."
