This holiday weekend is estimated to have more people driving than on any other Fourth of July holiday since 2007.
The Fourth falls on a Friday this year, which sets up a long weekend that encourages people to travel out of town, as well as the economy being better this year than during the 2008 recession.
Triple-A Auto Club is estimating that 41 million Americans will Travel 50 miles or more from home between July 2nd and July 6th, which is nearly a two percent increase from last year's Fourth of July.
Triple-A is also indicating that the price of a gallon of gas will be at a Fourth of July high dating back to 2008.
Indiana State Police are ready for the weekend rush.
