FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- The legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will come alive in the Summit City.

On Monday Heartland Chorale, along with the University Singers from Saint Francis, will present "Heartland Sings: We Are the Dream" at 7 p.m. in the north campus auditorium at the University of Saint Francis.

The production pays tribute to the revolutionary man and his contributions that have made our world a better place today.

Organizers say the significance of Dr. King's drive to unite all people, regardless of race, religion, or other affiliations, will be underscored by several local community leaders reading quotes from Dr. King during the performance.

The music of this concert sets the tone for a call to action to help change the world, much as King's life positively impacted the nation.
