This is the courtyard of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. This is the traditionally-held place of the Crucifixion and burial of Jesus. In this church, you will find what many believe to be the tomb of Jesus, the spot where the cross was raised, and the prison He was held. It is an immense church which is almost always filled with people worshiping. The first church to be built on this site was in the 4th century, and this church is from the middle ages. I will post one picture from inside shortly. There is one other spot that many believe could be the spot of his death and burial too ... I will post that later, as well.
