FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- More jobs are coming to Allen County.

A ground breaking ceremony was held in Woodburn today for "North American Cold Storage."

The company is building a new 96-thousand square foot facility.

When completed, it will be the tallest cold storage facility in the area.

The company will invest about 28.1 millions dollars in to the new facility, and will bring more than 75 new jobs to the area.

"We're part of the global supply chain, we store food for food manufactures and refrigerate it. We're almost like a food forwarder if you will,” Scott Parker, managing partner at North American Cold Storage said.

North American Cold Storage plans to have the first part of the project completed by October.
