Miami County, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Officials at Grissom Air Reserve Base are wanting to notify area residents that the base will be participating in two separate exercises on Tuesday, September 25 that will result in increased activity at the base.
The exercises are designed to test emergency management and crisis response actions and local residents should not associate the actions on September 25 with real world events.
Emergency management and crisis response exercises normally include the use of base sirens and increased activity by security forces, fire department and other response personnel.
Grissom ARB conducts exercises on a regular basis to ensure its personnel are able to respond to a various scenarios.
