INDIANAPOLIS, Ind (21Alive) -- Indiana Governor Mike Pence is appealing the Federal Emergency Management Agency's denial of requested disaster aid for Indiana.
This harsh winter saw the Indiana State Highway Department spend a record 57 million dollar punches. The State had requested aid for 49 counties due to the this winter's snow storms.
If federal aid is approved for Indiana, it would pay for 75 percent of the expenses for damages and emergency measures.
