Indiana (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Governor Mitch Daniels is taking time to take in Thursday’s ruling before he decides how Indiana will respond.

Daniels did say that because the Supreme Court has struck down the portion of the law that forces states to take on more Medicaid recipients, making the expansion optional, the legislature will have to decide whether the state will take part.

Daniels says this would cost the state at least $2 billion between 2012 and 2014.
