FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – If you travel on Lima Road for work, you might want to find a different route for a little while.

Beginning Monday, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will be paving Lima Road between Coliseum Boulevard and Dalgren Avenue.

You should expect some inter-mitten stops and closures lasting for about 20 minutes throughout the day. INDOT says work should be finished by the end of the week, if weather permits.

In the meantime, drivers are reminded to use caution and consider worker safety when going through a construction zone.

This is all part of the U.S. 27/Lima Road Resurfacing Project that should be completed by early September.
