Fort Wayne School Bus Evacuates

September 26, 2013 Updated Sep 26, 2013 at 10:43 AM EST

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A Fort Wayne Community school bus, with students on board, had to be evacuated, Thursday at about 8:20 a.m.

The driver got all of the kids off the bus without any problems on Huffman just north of Spring, because she thought it was filling with smoke. As it turns out, it wasn't smoke. The bus had blown its radiator and it was actually steam.

No one was hurt and the kids made it school okay but late.
