Home Turned To Ash After Early Morning Fire (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – Fire destroyed a home on Irene Court early Friday morning.

The blaze sparked just after 2:30 in the 3900 block of Irene Court off Hillegas Road.

A passing motorist called it in.

Crews from the Southwest, Huntertown and Fort Wayne fire departments worked together to bring the fire under control in about 45 minutes.

Investigators say ammunition was stored inside the garage, and witnesses report hearing a small explosion. Investigators are working to figure out the exact cause of the fire.

No one was home at the time, and no injuries reported.
