INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (21Alive) -- The Former Indianapolis Metro Police Officer convicted of drunk driving and causing a fatal crash, has filed an appeal.

WTHR reports that David Bisard formally filed an appeal today of his conviction for a 2010 fatal crash where Bisard was found to driving while intoxicated. Bisard was sentenced to 16-years in prison late last year.
