GRANT COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) -- The Indiana State police are saying that both lanes of I-69 are both open near the 264 mile marker

The following advisory was originally sent out by the Indiana State Police:

I-69 in Grant County is closed at this time between the 263 and 265 mile markers in both directions due to flooding from heavy rainfall. Traffic is currently being diverted off the Interstate in Huntington County at the 273 mile marker.

Motorists are urged to take alternate routes of travel and to avoid areas of high water.
