East Side House Catches Fire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 2910 Pittsburg St. shortly after 8 a.m. this morning.

FWFD had the fire under control in seven minutes after arriving on the scene. The only resident of the house was able to evacuate without any injuries.

FWFD reported heavy smoke damage and moderate fire damage done to the bedroom and living room of the home.
