Flames Engulf Marion Community Schools Education Center

MARION, Ind. (21Alive) -- Flames engulfed Marion Community Schools Education Service Center this morning, blanketing downtown Marion in heavy smoke.

The building was evacuated around 9:00 a.m. when fire alarms went off. No injuries have been reported. As of 11:00 a.m. firefighters are still on the scene but the fire appears to be contained.

According to observers, it appears that the bulk of the damage was done to the roof.
