Flags Lowered In Honor Of Shooting Victims (VIDEO)

UNITED STATES (21Alive) -- All flags will be lowered Tuesday in honor of the victims of the Navy Yard shooting.

The proclamation applies to all public grounds, military posts, naval vessels and installations overseas.

Monday afternoon, the flag at the U.S. capitol, which is just a mile and a half from the Navy Yard, was lowered.

The flag above the White House was also lowered.
