Fires Damage Two Homes In Fort Wayne (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Two Fort Wayne homes were damaged by fire early Thursday morning.

Fire crews were called out to a home in the 1000 block of Sherwood Terrace around 9:15 a.m. Thursday. No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries reported. Moderate damage was reported.

Crews were also called to a home in the 3800 block of Brentwood Dr. around 9:45 a.m. Thursday. According to the Fire Department, a woman awoke to the smell of smoke and got herself and her child out of the home. The fire was quickly extinguished but the house sustained heavy damage.
