FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – A giant blaze broke out early Sunday morning at a house on the south end of town

Luckily, no one was in the house at the time and no one was hurt.

Fort Wayne firefighters say it happened just after 3:30 Sunday morning at 3052 S. Monroe Street.

When they arrived, crews found smoke billowing from three different areas of the house. Crews were able to tame the flames in approximately 38 minutes, but the first and second floors of the home are a total loss.

Investigators are unsure what caused the fire.
