Natural Causes Cause Driver's Death In Monday Morning Crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A two-vehicle crash involving a medical episode occurred this morning around 8:34.

It was initially reported that the victim, 47-year-old Michael Eugene Perry, died as a result of the crash. However, the Allen County Coroner has ruled that Perry died from natural causes and did not die from injuries sustained in the crash.

According to witnesses, the driver of a red Jeep drove between a Citilink bus and a sidewalk, side swiping the bus as it dropped off a passenger, nearly hitting a person at Lake Ave. and Coliseum Blvd..
