ANGOLA, Ind. (21Alive) -- Four people were able to escape an early morning house fire near Angola Friday.
Firefighters were called to a home on Metz Rd. at 3 a.m. First units on the scene found the two-story farm house engulfed in flames. The wind helped fuel the fire, which made the blaze more difficult to fight.
The home owners lost all of their belongings including car seats for their children. Paramedics went to a local store and purchased new ones for the family.
A fund to help the family has been set up at the Fort Financial Branch in Angola under the name of Stephanie Holloway. 21Alive has been told that the family has two boys under the age of 2.
