Family Of Five Escapes House Fire Unharmed (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21 Alive) -- A family manages to make it out of their home as a fire breaks out.

The fire happened at a home on the 700 block of West Dewald Street around 10:30 Saturday morning.

Firefighters on the scene told 21Alive the fire may have started in a utility room where it spread to the kitchen.

Fort Wayne firefighters were able to put out the fire within ten minutes.

Five people, two adults and three children, were in the home at the time, but they were all unharmed.
