FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Fort Wayne Community Schools announced at a 4:00 p.m. press conference today that they will be forgoing the online ISTEP+ testing this week and wait for paper testing in May.
The announcement was made after FWCS had experienced several days of network issues with CTB-McGraw Hill's servers.
Superintendent Dr. Wendy Robinson said, "We refuse to subject students and staff to the probability of the same thing happening this year. Our students deserve the opportunity to be tested in an environment that is conducive to their success."
