FBI & NAACP Team Up To Host Training For Safer Communities

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Indianapolis Division and the NAACP Fort Wayne/Allen County Branch 3049 invite the community to attend free Community Relations Executive Seminar Training (CREST) on Tuesday, April 9.

The training seminar will be held at the Public Safety Academy from 4-8 p.m. FBI CREST will provide an overview of FBI and Department of Justice policies and procedures. During the CREST, attendees are given an overview of the FBI's jurisdiction followed by a discussion of issues relating to their communities. Participants will receive CEUs and Certificate of Completion.

The purpose of this seminar training is to mobilize community partnerships and help create a safer community. The training intends to increase knowledge and awareness of the FBI's mission, goals, history and internal mechanisms.
