FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A new natural gas fuel generator has been installed at the Lassus Hand Dandy on Coldwater Rd.

Officials say, this new generator will give emergency vehicles access to fuel in the event of a power outage. Within seconds of an outage the backup generator will automatically kick on and supply power directly to the circuit box.

This is the first natural gas generator at a Fort Wayne Gas Station.
