104 Year-Old Sister, Seven Other Sisters From Victory Noll Celebrate Jubilees

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) — Eight members of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters celebrated Jubilees this year, with seven of those Sisters honored with a special Mass, May 24, at Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel at Victory Noll.

Sister Carlota Baca celebrated 85 years as a Victory Noll Sister in 2013. Now 104 years old, Sr. Carlota joined OLVM on October 28, 1928.

Two Sisters were honored for 75 years as Victory Noll Sisters, including Sr. Mary Joan Ginsterblum and Sr. Justine Kiefer. Sr. Mary Frances Bartsch celebrated 70 years with OLVM.

Three Sisters celebrated 60 years, including Sr. Kathleen Cummings, Sr. Regina Marie Morrissey and Sr. Christopher Rudell.

The 50th jubilee celebration for Sr. Helen Rodriguez-Marin will be held Aug. 5 at Victory Noll.

Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters is a religious community of women dedicated to serving the poor in the name of Christ. Founded in 1922 by Father John Joseph Sigstein, the members of the Victory Noll community minister to those in need.
