Deputies Find Meth Lab While Arresting Wanted Man

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) -- A wanted man is behind bars after authorities found him in a home along with items used to make meth.

Just before midnight on Christmas, deputies with the Steuben County Sheriff's department and Angola Police were looking for David Zervos, 32, who was wanted for failing to appear for a court hearing.

Zervos was found inside a home along with a strong chemical odor. Detectives were called to the scene to assist with the investigation, a search warrant was obtained and several items commonly associated with the manufacture of meth were found inside the home.

Zervos was taken into custody on the outstanding arrest warrant and was later charges with class B felony manufacturing methamphetamine.

Zervos is being held without bond pending an initial court appearance.
