SYRACUSE, Ind. (21Alive) -- According to the DNR, 32 people have died, drowning in Indiana's lakes and rivers already this year.
A number on an alarming pace to surpass last year's total of 56.
That's why officers want water-lovers to brush up on their safety tips before the holiday weekend.
