Crossfitters Observe Memorial Day With Military-Style Workout (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – People observe Memorial Day in different ways. Some hold cookouts, while others attend memorial services, but a local group recognized the holiday by putting themselves in the shoes of those who serve.

The people are Crossfit Praus in Fort Wayne are honoring servicemen and women the best way they know how—by working out. But this workout of the day was different.

For Memorial Day, crossfitters did a workout called the "Murph" named after Lt. Michael Murphy who was depicted in the movie "Lone Survivor,” and it wasn't a workout for the faint-hearted.
