FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Fort Wayne Police are looking for a man who robbed two individuals at gunpoint as they were responding to a Craigslist ad.

The victim told police he was trying to purchase an iPhone 5 that he saw posted on Craigslist, but became suspicious when the seller kept changing their meeting location.

The settled on meeting at Third St and St. Mary's Ave. The victim said when he and another person arrived at the meeting spot, the seller showed up with an iPhone 5 box and asked the buyer to get out of his vehicle. The buyer did so and another person remained in the vehicle in the passenger seat.

The seller then pulled a gun on the buyer and demanded the cash. The buyer told the gunman that he didn't have the cash and had needed to go to the ATM for it. The seller then made the person in the passenger seat get out of the car and proceeded to go through the car.

The seller took the victim's wallet and house keys but the victim told police there was only $6 in cash in the wallet.

Both the victim and the passenger in the vehicle told police that the suspect ran east on Third St. and turned left and disappeared.

Earlier this month, a man reported a similar armed robbery in the same area over a Craigslist ad for an iPhone 5.
