Couple Charged In Alleged Advertising Scam

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Police have charged a Fort Wayne man and women with corrupt business influence for a alleged scam that promised advertising on pizza box fliers, door hangers and restaurant place mats.

Susan Lindemann, 49, and Dale Lindemann, 61, now divorced, allegedly posed as salespeople from nonexistent advertising firms and collected a total of $1,189.50 from various area businesses.

Businesses involved include Golden Oldies, ASAP Computers, Meyer Antiques & Collectables and Speaker World. No arrests have yet been made.
