WANTED: Convicted Child Neglector Skips Out On Court Appearance (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- An arrest warrant has been issued for Amilcar Estrada after he failed to appear in court Thursday morning.

Following an hour of deliberations, the jury convicted Estrada of the charge of neglect of a dependent causing serious bodily injury.

In February 2012, Holly Brooks, 21, took her 2-year-old son to the hospital when he had a seizure. Brooks and her boyfriend, Estrada were arrested when doctors found the boy had three brain hemorrhages, burns and other marks on his body.

Brooks received a 5 year sentence in the case.
