NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (RTV6) -- A court hearing that had been scheduled Wednesday for Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay has been postponed.
Irsay, 54, was arrested March 16 in Hamilton County after a traffic stop in the 13000 block of Horseferry Road.
Carmel police said he was operating a vehicle while intoxicated and had several prescription drugs in pill bottles.
"Irsay's attorneys moved to continue the initial hearing for the reason that Mr. Irsay has been admitted to an out-of-state medical facility for inpatient treatment," read a release from the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office. "The state was advised of the request and did not object to it."
Formal charges have not been filed.
