City Officials Ask Residents To Clear Storm Drains Of Ice & Snow

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Temperatures are beginning to warm up, and we could soon see some flooding.

With this in mind, Fort Wayne City Utilities officials are asking that residents help by removing ice and snow that is covering storm drains.

When snow melts, it needs to be able to flow into a storm drain, but sometimes it gets blocked. You can check storm drains, especially in neighborhoods and clear them so the melting snow can flow off of the street
