City Holds Aqua Takeover Informational Meetings

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The City of Fort Wayne has started a series of informational meetings for residents to learn of the city's plan to take over Aqua Indiana in southwest Fort Wayne.

At the first meeting Wednesday night, the biggest concern for taxpayers was possible water rate increases.

Aqua customers average water bills of $35 per month. City taxpayers average $20 per month bills.

-3 to 6 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 10: Fort Wayne Fire Department No. 19 , 10116 Covington Rd.
-6:30 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 10: Good Shepard United Methodist Church, 4700 Vance Ave.
-11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., Jan. 12: Allen County Public Library Aboite Branch, 5630 Coventry Ln.
-7 p.m. Wed., Jan. 16: Fort Wayne Sport Club, 3102 Ardmore Ave.
-10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thurs., Jan. 17: Allen County Public Library Main Branch, 900 Library Plaza
-6:30 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 17: Northridge Baptist Church, 1300 E. Cook Rd.
