Chlorine Leak in Bluffton Contained, Water Safe To Drink

Bluffton, Ind. (21Alive) -- A chlorine leak at the waste water treatment plant in Bluffton, Indiana has an evacuation underway at the factory.

Area fire departments are on scene lending a hand. The leak was reported at 8:05 Friday morning, the cause of the leak is not known at this time.

21Alive has been told that the water in Bluffton is safe to drink and that the leak has been contained.

It is also not known if there are any injuries reported. The Fort Wayne Fire Department hazmat team is on the scene helping out.
