Fort Wayne Children Escape Burning Home (VIDEO)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- Two children were able to escape their burning Fort Wayne home unharmed late Thursday Night.

Fire crews were called to the 3200 Block of Webster Street at around 10:40p.m. after reports of a structure fire.

When they arrived on scene, they found two children waiting outside. Upon entering the home they saw white smoke, and found flames on the second floor.

Firefighters were able to douse the fire and put it under control in about 20 minutes.

No one was hurt in the blaze, but the home suffered heavy fire damage in the second floor. The cause is still under investigation.
