FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Quaker Steak and Lube is hosting a Chicken for Charity event tonight.

A Northrup football player, Noah Barbknecht, 15, was involved in a tragic skiing accident on Christmas Eve. He sustained multiple facial fractures, a broken neck, broken ribs, double pneumothorax and a spinal fracture at T8 that has left him paralyzed from the breast bone down.

The Northrup Bruins school, coaching staff, parents and community have banded together to provide meaningful financial support to Noah's family for the costs associated with his care and rehabilitation.

Quaker Steak and Lube has joined the effort by hosting a Chicken for Charity event all day Tuesday where 15% of the total check at each table there to support the fundraiser will be donated to Noah's family.

To participate you simply have to tell your server that you are there as a part of the fundraiser and 15% of your total bill will be donated. To go orders can also be included.

Quaker Steak and Lube says "everyone eats, why not eat for a cause?" There will also be Lube Tube where guests can donate directly to the family.
